Individual Assessment of Educational Qualifications

The College directly handles applications from Canadian and Internationally trained applicants who require an individual assessment of their educational qualifications.

The College’s process for individual assessment of educational credentials will apply to individuals who:

a)  Have relevant post-secondary educational credentials equivalent to an early childhood education diploma from an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology

b)  Do not hold a licence/certificate or a diploma/degree from a program on the College’s approved programs list.

Before applying for an individual assessment

Check out our Individual Assessment FAQs.

Assessment Criteria

To determine whether an applicant meets the educational requirements for registration, the College will use criteria based on the Early Childhood Education Program Standard approved in 2012 by the Ontario Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development (formerly the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities).
